Prague under the Spotlight
Excursions for those who wish to know Prague in detail. We will take you to the Old Town, the New Town and the Jewish Quarter, the Lesser Town and Prague Castle. In this manner we will traverse the entire historical city.
The Old Town and the New Town
The Old and the New Town are both located on the right bank of the Vltava River. While the Old Town is composed of narrow, winding medieval streets, the New Town was founded in the 14th Century as the “modern” area of Prague.
Prague Castle and the Lesser Town
Prague Castle and the Lesser Town are located on the left bank of the river. Here you will find one of the oldest quarters of Prague.
The Unique Corners of Prague Castle
In terms of its area, Prague Castle is the largest castle in the world. It comprises a vast complex of Palaces and gardens. For a detailed tour of the Castle you will definitely require several hours.
The Jewish Town
Jews lived in this part of the town from as early as the 13th Century. Emperor Joseph II. elevated the original Jewish ghetto to the status of a Prague Municipal District in the late 18th Century.
